Picnic on the Porch

It's a beautiful day and we decided to eat lunch on the front porch, here are a few pics of Lauren in her adorable new sundress, courtesy of Aunt Amanda and Uncle Wayne. How cute!

We went to the Cincinnati Zoo on Sunday with Grandma and Grandpa V and Uncle Wayne, Aunt Amanda, and Chloe. It was a lot of fun and we got to see a lot of animals even though it was 85 degrees. Chloe bought Lauren a pink giraffe, Lauren's favorite animal! After the zoo we ate at Haufbrauhaus, Chloe's favorite place to eat in Cincinnati.

This is the wall by the giraffe exhibit that Lauren ALWAYS walks on. Maybe that's why giraffes are her favorite animal at the zoo.

Memorial Day Weekend

Lauren had so much fun playing with the bubbles with Uncle Wayne. She ran around trying to pop every one of them! (the swimsuit seems to be a staple outfit these days)

Memorial Day Weekend

Lauren decided to collect as many ants as she could, by hand. She probably caught 8 or 9 and put them in her bug house! She also got pretty good at tball and had so much fun trying to do EVERYTHING that her cousin, Chloe, would do.

Here she is waiting for an ant to to come out of the crack in the concrete so she can catch it.

Among other things, Aunt Amanda found a tutu and fairy wings for Lauren. This may have been Lauren's favorite part about the weekend, she kept running around fluttering her arms saying, "I'm flying like a butterfly!" Most of these pictures show just the tutu but I'll find one of the entire outfit and post it.

Memorial Day Weekend

We had so much fun with Uncle Wayne, Aunt Amanda, Chloe, Grandma and Grandpa V and Grandma Miller! The pool and water guns were a big hit, Lauren also enjoyed chasing Chloe around and around the pool.

Summer is here!

Sunday's temperature reached 88 degrees so we decided to break out the inflatable pool, which this year looks a lot smaller than before.

Lauren had Shoshana and Eden over to play in the pool and enjoy her Hello Kitty sprinkler.

Lauren found a pair of goggles that her cousin, Chloe, left at her house last year and thought it would be a great idea to wear them while running through the sprinkler.
