Halloween Parade at Preschool

The plan was for Lauren to be Cinderella for Halloween and she's been wearing the cosutme for weeks but yesterday, when a neighbor saw her playing dress up at the gym, she stopped by and dropped off this Tinkerbell costume and Lauren fell in love! So for today at preschool she is Tinkerbell, who knows what she'll be for Trick or Treat.

Christopher 1 month Appointment

Christopher went for his 1 month check up and he now weighs 10 lbs 6 oz and is 22.5 inches long. He can roll over from his belly to his back already and he's been holding his head up since birth...our strong boy! Lauren also went to the doctor for her flu shot. Mark and I had been prepping her for the shot for at least a week and she got to see us get our shots. When we went into the office she told the doctor she wanted to go first so she layed on the table and held my hand and got her shot with NO TEARS!!! and that's our strong girl! :)

More Newborn Pics of Christopher

I finally took time to download more pictures from my Dad's camera of the day Christopher was born.

Probably more amazing than seeing my son for the first time was seeing my daughter look at her little brother for the first time. She has been so excited about having a little brother for the past months, asking so many questions and telling me what a big helper she'd be and talking to Christopher everyday. So when I finally saw them together it was one of the most amazing moments of my life. She looked at him in such a proud and adoring way, I could tell she loved him from the moment she saw him.

Weekend at Grandma and grandpa V's

This is the Jack-o-Lantern that Lauren and Grandpa V carved. Lauren was very good at cleaning out the goop! This is Butterscotch, the neighborhood cat who always come to visit Grandma V because she always has treats. Lauren loves Butterscotch!

Disney on Ice: Princess Classics

Grandma and Grandpa V took Lauren to see Disney Princesses on Ice at US Bank Arena a few days ago. They got 2nd row seats on the ice and Lauren was able to see everything. When she got home she told us all the stories of all the princesses and days later she is still talking about it. She wore her Cinderella dress, her favorite princess, with silver slippers and all. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa V!

Christopher 3 weeks old

Lauren and Christopher (2.5 weeks)

Lauren is in love with her little brother. She is such a good big sister who is always there to help mommy. She loves to hold Christopher and give him kisses. The princess dress is worn almost everyday so she can do ballet in it :)
