Strawberry Picking

On Sunday we went to Blooms and Berries Farm in Loveland, OH to pick strawberries. It was a great day to go with LOTS of berries to choose from. Lauren loved picking and even ate them after she saw a few bugs on them :)

Membership Apreciation Night at the Zoo

Friday was member appreciation night at the zoo so we spent the evening there. We saw the gorillas eating watermelons, rode the carousel and the train, and danced to a little bluegrass music.Watching the gorillas eat watermelon.

My Quotable Kid

Yesterday Lauren and Mommy swam at the JCC pool. During a snack break we had a conversation that went a little like this...
"Hey Mommy."
"Yes Lauren?"
"Does God make animals so we can go to the zoo?"
"Yeah I think that's one of the reasons God makes animals."

Our Little Artist

Lauren was working away at her table with her colors and coloring book when she finally said, "Mommy, look at this, I drew a picture of your baby!" She was very proud of it and it really does look like something, more like a peanut than a baby, but nonetheless it's beautiful to mommy! (I love the hair!) The top pic is from our 20 week ultrasound.

Picnic on the Porch

It's a beautiful day and we decided to eat lunch on the front porch, here are a few pics of Lauren in her adorable new sundress, courtesy of Aunt Amanda and Uncle Wayne. How cute!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to the Cincinnati Zoo on Sunday with Grandma and Grandpa V and Uncle Wayne, Aunt Amanda, and Chloe. It was a lot of fun and we got to see a lot of animals even though it was 85 degrees. Chloe bought Lauren a pink giraffe, Lauren's favorite animal! After the zoo we ate at Haufbrauhaus, Chloe's favorite place to eat in Cincinnati.

This is the wall by the giraffe exhibit that Lauren ALWAYS walks on. Maybe that's why giraffes are her favorite animal at the zoo.

Memorial Day Weekend

Lauren had so much fun playing with the bubbles with Uncle Wayne. She ran around trying to pop every one of them! (the swimsuit seems to be a staple outfit these days)
